so far i'm on my fourth car. i've had a ford exploder that had a bad piston and all 6 injecters were bad so that got sold, then i got a chevy s-10 pickup with a bad tranny and some minor things missing (pullys, battery, belts) and that was strictly a project truck but my dad didnt want to do tranny work so he sold that and got me a 90 jeep cherokee that i still have and it is for sale. i drove the cherokee around for a while then my step mom helped me finance my curent car, a volkswagen jetta GL 2.0l that has a 2" drop, smoked markers and blinkers, badgeless grill, and a cold air intake. currently lookin into boost, hopefully by this summer.

ok so i work for toyota which is right next to a small used car dealer. i was looking at a truck that my friend was interested in and noticed a small, white, fox in the back corner. i thougth it was a sales guys or something untill i noticed a white paper in the window and saw it was for sale. well i blew it off and just decided to go check it out on my day off. they are asking 500 and i got a place i can put it for a while. it runs ok for what it is and it would be stricktly a project car. 4 sp… Continue
guess you gotta point. Probably does get annoying when you're tired. But for whatever reason, i drive with my hand on the shifter anyway even though its automatic. I don't know why i do it since theres no point, but it also makes it easier for me to reach the radio controls.
probably gonna keep it an auto. i would have preferred the stick shift though, didn't have much of a choice when i got the car. but, the next car i get will probably have a manual trans. they're so much more fun to drive than boring automatics
yup, seen them tons of times, but never really thought of purchasing one. i actually really like the older 93-97 corollas, if i were to get one, id swap in a 20V 4AGE, that would give me some nice power. btw, those AE 86s still are all over the pages of mags like super street, import tuner etc.
hah, that would be great. that sure would surprise some people. im probably going to keep the rolla and just buy a faster car in the future, don't think i could separate myself from the corolla. gonna be driven until it falls apart. I think hers is like a 2004, but now im thinking, that is really low mileage for a car from that year. idk...still a nice car though
my aunt is selling her jetta. It only has like 10K miles, but asking price is 16,500. I wish i had the cash, b/c i would pick it up in a heartbeat! it just sucks with cars that aren't mainstream like the rolla, because they don't make that many performance parts for it. can't even find a turbo kit for it!
thanks man, yeah, them stock corollas sure look nasty. plus all of them always seem to be beat up and barely running. originally wanted a civic or accord but i guess its better that i have the rolla because a lot less people mod corollas. allows me to have one of a few somewhat modded rollas out there
